Myrrh has been used for centuries by different communities. Often, it was used as an ingredient in incense, perfumes in Ancient Egypt. In some communities, it was used as a remedy for muscular pains and in rheumatic plasters.
It consists of:
- Grade I
- Grade II
Grade IThis is the rarer and sustainable grade I Myrrh. It is a gift from the Myrrh trees and collected without tapping or stressing the tree. It is used in essential oils, fragrance, dermatology, naturopathy, aroma therapy and burning incense.
Grade IIMyrr Grade II is the usual Myrrh resin which is collected after the trees have been tapped. it is completely sustainable.It is used as burning incense, in essential and carrier oils and fragrance industry. It can provide relief from skin conditions i.e. eczema, rashes.
